This is a story of the ocean, presented by the National Geographic Special Exhibition, 'OCEAN: The Greatest Record', at the Chungmu Art Center in Seoul.

ソウルの忠武（チュンム）アートセンターで開催中のナショナルジオグラフィック特別企画、『OCEAN: 最も偉大な記録』が伝える海の物語です。

서울 충무아트센터에서 진행 중인 내셔널지오그래픽 특별기획, 'OCEAN: 가장 거대한 기록'이 전하는 바다의 이야기입니다.

Chapter1. Change | Ariel

This is the ocean in crisis, facing the annual influx of 14 million tons of plastic and gradual acidification.

毎年1,400万トンのプラスチックが流入し、徐々に酸性化が進む、危機に直面した海の姿です。

Inside the exhibition hall, there is an XR immersive media space and a screening room.
The movements of marine life come to life before your eyes, and the wondrous world of the unknown deep sea is vividly screened.

展示館の内部には、XR没入型メディアスペースと映像館があります。
海洋生物の泳ぐ姿が目の前で再現され、これまで知ることのなかった深海の驚異的な世界が鮮やかに上映されます。

전시관 내부에 XR 실감형 미디어 공간과 영상관이 있습니다.
해양 생물의 유영이 눈앞에서 구현되고, 미처 알지 못했던 심해의 경이로운 세계가 생생하게 상영됩니다.

OUTRO

The cycle of nature, sustaining life in its own way even in the deepest places, is a marvel in itself.

A silent devotion that willingly offers shelter to smaller lives, guarding its place and even refusing food until the young safely emerge into the world.

Their calm, solid vitality, living every moment to the fullest in hidden places, gently reminds us of the inherent beauty of life.

最も深い場所でも、それぞれの形で命を繋いでいく自然の循環は、それ自体が驚異です。

自分より小さな命に進んで居場所を与え、仔が無事に生まれるまで餌すら絶ってその場を守り抜く、黙々とした献身。

見えない場所で一瞬一瞬を懸命に生きる彼らの穏やかで芯のある生命力は、命本来の美しさをそっと気づかせてくれます。

가장 깊은 곳에서도 각자의 방식으로 생명을 이어가는 자연의 순환은 그 자체로 경이롭습니다.

자신보다 작은 생명에게 기꺼이 피난처를 내어주고, 새끼가 무사히 세상에 나올 때까지 먹이조차 거부한 채 자리를 지키는 묵묵한 헌신.

보이지 않는 곳에서 매 순간 최선을 다해 살아내는 그들의 고요하고 단단한 생명력은 생명 본연의 아름다움이 무엇인지 조용히 일깨워줍니다.

Facing the ocean's changes exactly as they are—changes that were hard to feel in daily life—I feel a heavy sense of responsibility for what we are losing.

I hope we can long preserve the pure peace of nature and the value of 'living together'.

日常では実感しにくかった海の変化とありのままに向き合い、私たちが失いつつあるものに対する重い責任を感じます。

自然が持つ本来の平穏と、「共に生きる」という価値を末長く守り続けられることを願っています。

일상에서 체감하기 어려웠던 바다의 변화를 있는 그대로 마주하며, 우리가 잃어가고 있는 것들에 대한 묵직한 책임감을 느낍니다.

자연이 지닌 온전한 평화로움과 ‘함께 살아간다’는 가치를 오래도록 지켜나갈 수 있기를 희망합니다.
