This is Hiroshima, Japan—the first city in history to suffer an atomic bombing during World War II.
The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, home to the iconic Atomic Bomb Dome, is a solemn space dedicated to mourning the victims and conveying an enduring message of peace.
Encompassing the Peace Memorial Museum and numerous cenotaphs, this expansive park offers a profoundly tranquil landscape that stands in stark, quiet contrast to its tragic past.

第二次世界大戦中、人類史上初めて原子爆弾が投下された街、広島。
原爆ドームを擁する広島平和記念公園は、原爆死没者への追悼と、恒久平和への祈りが込められた場所です。
平和記念資料館や数々の慰霊碑が点在するこの広大な公園には、その悲劇的な歴史とは対照的に、静かで穏やかな風景が広がっています。

제2차 세계대전 당시 인류 역사상 최초로 원자폭탄이 투하되었던 도시, 일본 히로시마입니다.

Memorial Tower to the Mobilized Students

Erected in 1967, this tower honors the memory of the students who were mobilized for forced labor during World War II and lost their lives in the atomic bombing.
At the base of the tower's center stands a bronze figure known as the Goddess of Peace.

第二次世界大戦中、強制労働に動員され、原爆の犠牲となった学徒たちを追悼するため、1967年に建立されました。
塔の中央下部には、「平和の女神像」と呼ばれるブロンズ像が静かに佇んでいます。

제2차 세계대전 당시 강제 노동에 동원되었다가 원자폭탄 투하로 희생된 학도들을 추도하기 위해 1967년에 건립되었습니다.
탑의 중앙 하단에는 '평화의 여신상'이라 불리는 청동상이 조용히 자리하고 있습니다.

During World War II, over three million students across the nation were mobilized for labor service to support wartime production. Sacrificing the brilliance of their youth and their fundamental duties as students, more than 10,000 of these dedicated young souls perished in the ravages of war, with some 6,000 losing their lives to the atomic bomb. Though their clear eyes gazed toward a promising future, their dreams of taking flight were tragically shattered. This tower was erected by the hands of fellow compatriots to console the spirits of those students who fell for their homeland.

第二次世界大戦中増産協力等いわゆる勤労奉仕に動員された學徒は全國にわたり三百數十萬人。あたら青春の光輝と學究の本分を犠牲にしつつ挺身した者のうち戰禍にたおれたものは一萬有余人。その六千余人は原爆死をとげた。
この塔は明眸青雲を望み、将来空高く羽ばたこうとした夢も空しく祖國に殉じたそれら學徒の霊を慰めようと有志同胞の手によってうち建てた。

제2차 세계대전 중 증산 협력 등 이른바 '근로 봉사'에 동원된 학도는 전국적으로 3백수십만 명에 달한다. 애석하게도 청춘의 찬란함과 학생의 본분을 희생하며 헌신한 이들 중, 전쟁의 참화 속에 쓰러진 이는 1만여 명에 이르며, 그중 6천여 명은 원폭으로 목숨을 잃었다. 맑은 눈으로 청운의 꿈을 품고 장차 하늘 높이 날아오르려던 꿈도 허망하게 꺾인 채 조국에 순국한 학도들. 이 탑은 그들의 영령을 위로하고자 뜻을 함께하는 동포들의 손으로 건립되었다.

核兵器の惨禍を後世に伝え、世界の恒久平和を訴えるユネスコ世界文化遺産、原爆ドーム。破壊された建物の残骸とむき出しの鉄骨が当時の姿のまま保存されており、戦争の悲惨さを静かに、そして痛切に物語っています。

핵무기의 참상을 알리고 전 세계의 항구적인 평화를 기원하는 의미를 담아 유네스코 세계유산으로 지정된 원폭 돔. 파괴된 건물의 잔해와 앙상하게 드러난 철골을 당시의 모습 그대로 보존하여, 전쟁의 참혹함을 묵묵히 증언하고 있습니다.
